Fadjr Int’l Theater fest final lineup announced

Fadjr International Theater Festival has announced the final lineup of the three main sections of the event.

The three main competition sections of the event are Iran Theater Competition- Section A, Iran Theater Competition- Section B and the International Competition.

The event is underway from December 30, 2017-January 2, 2018, according to Atabak Naderi, coordinating director of provincial theater at the Department of Performing Arts, Ministry of Culture.

The Fajr International Theater Festival was established in 1983. It occurs annually in Iran, featuring local and international theatrical works and performers.

The festival is held during the Fajr Decade (literally meaning ten days of dawn), which marks the anniversary of the ten days from the return of Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic, to Iran (February 1) until the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11) in 1979.
